"The future belongs to the CURIOUS. The ones who are not afraid to TRY it, EXPLORE it,
POKE at it, QUESTION it, and TURN it inside out."
Science is best learned through experience. We create and organize units and lessons to introduce relevant and complex experiments in order to spark and maintain students’ interest and deepen their thinking in the content areas of Life Science, Physical Science, and Earth Science. Many of our experiments are hands-on, and require students to get actively involved. Guided questioning steers and guides our students in developing critical thinking skills, and we are continuously searching for way to let our students "Learn by Doing". We truly love science in 2nd Grade and hope your conversations at home are reflecting what is happening each day in our classrooms.
